Great weekend...forgot my camera

Stinks when you have a weekend you want to remember but....leave the camera at home. Oh, well. Can't get everything right!

Saturday morning we headed to a 6th grade football game. Not excited yet? There's more! Ty was the water boy! Well, he was supposed to be. He talked about it all week. We got there and discovered that 6th graders are a bit larger than we remembered them to be. He did bring them water during half time. Enough for him...we hope!

After the game, we had a cookout with Ry's family. Lots of laughs, tons of food and everyone seemed to have a great time.

Today was Halle's day! Another day that has been looked forward to all week. A few weeks ago she enjoyed a birthday party at a rock climbing gym. The child has been addicted ever since. So today -- she climbed again! This time it was all her. She went up 5 different paths. Although she was exhausted in the end, she is excited for her next trip!

That's not it! After the rock climbing adventure, we went out to eat -- great food, not so great kids but we can't be perfect, right? Then we headed over to the pumpkin patch.

We picked out our pumpkins within seconds of being there. Two great big, wonderfully carvable pumpkins! Can't wait to see what we create! Then we gather 15 more for our girl scout troop --- (did I mention that I am co-leading Halle's troop. Hope I can make the year a good one for the girls.) They had a Barack Obama and John McCain scarecrow...too cute. Ty jumped in the hay/straw while Halle followed the rules and walked around them.

Now we are home and hungry -- off to eat!
